In this module we'll go through a rapid-fire refresh of GDPR. We'll look at the guiding principles of GDPR, the rights it gives to data subjects and the legal bases under which you can process personal data.

In this module we'll look at some very recent ICO enforcement cases. We'll identify the mistakes that were made and we'll see what we can learn from this to prevent these issues from happening within our own organisations. We'll also look at how the EU and the UK differs in their current approaches to enforcement.

In this final module we'll introduce the Data Use and Access Act 2025. We'll look at some of the proposed changes, we'll look at the current timelines available for their implementation, and we'll identify how this might make things easier for us in terms of our compliance efforts.
